A recent eBay find netted me two sets of 4-8-4 drivers and what looks to be a smaller set of eight drivers. One of the 4-8-4 sets is destined for use in a custom. The other, I want to use for a Union Pacific FEF since I'm a UP fan. The simplest way to do that would be to use one of the old Bachmann UP 806 shells, so if anyone has a junker 806 or the shell from one... I don't care if it's been burned, trodden on, etc. I'm just looking to buy one for less than ordering a shell from Bachmann would cost.

Never mind, just going to scratchbuild the UP FEF. The Bachmann shell would take so much work to change from a dressed-up Niagara that I may as well be scratchbuilding.

So instead, anyone got a spare Clementine conveyor to sell?

And I still need a cab for my Clementine loco. It's the 2-8-0/0-8-0 type loco most commonly sold as the Chattanooga, so someone should have a spare they could sell.

I have one of those gold mines from a set, in the box, but the conveyor belt itself is dried up and has split. I think all of them are going to be at this point.

Oh, shaddap :P

I'm buying in this case because the completer in me wants the actual thing from the set, and the actual part instead of a fabrication.

If you want to see fabrication, just stay tuned ;)

Forgot to mention, I couldn't fit them in the thread title but I am also interested in a Mail Pouch Tobacco boxcar, a Tyco Texaco tank car, and a Western Union cable reel car since they too were part of the Clementine set.

Well, probably going to have to wait on buying the cars due to a splurge spree today, but I'd still like to get that conveyor. I don't care if the belt's intact or not. I've PM'd two people, but haven't heard back, and I'm an impatient S.O.B.

I have two of them, one complete with a belt in excellent condition in original box and one without the belt.

I might have a extra Chattnooga Cab... I'll try finding it :D
Meanwhile, could you make a forum on your sctrachbuilding FEF-3 UP progress? I wanna see it!

If I can't fix it, I can fix it so it can't be fixed.
