This pic is of the building I had bought back before the year 2001. All were new in box.

| I think that McD's is the coolest of the batch.

I like it too, Jeff. Ebay item was just about 35 miles from home at that time.... The seller was amazed that it sold for $112.81. However at the time, it was not uncommon for these sealed kits to reach $300.00 or just over.

well the McD's is rare cause L-L didn't exactly get full permission to make it so it was retooled to make the Freezee building so whatever was out there was recalled

THREE HUNDRED SMACKAROO'S???!!! And I've been kicking myself all these years for not buying Apple stock back in the "80's. Who knew?
I rather like your Ace Supermarket. Here's mine. An iconic piece, my wife, when she was a little girl, used to shop there with her mom in a market that was the spitting image of the Ace. Back then her old man used to make $7 am hour and come home for lunch everyday. Raised seven kids on $7 an hour. Her mom would buy juuuuust enough for the day.

Hey Chops! The ACE store originated as a Life-Like Buildems , 7-11 back in the early 70s. Later the 7-11 become the ACE convenient store. Not sure what year it was changed. Very same kit other than the signs on the roof.

I am posting something different today, paper buildings. Cut. Fold, and tape. 2 old Victorian homes. Kept a little distant, they will blend in with the created scene. frank
