Not what I usually collect, but I cherry picked this out of Diane's model train estate sale after telling myself 1000 times how much I didn't need this. But, when the blazes will I find this again, on favorable terms? Like Frank says, the time to buy it is when you see it. Then I had to find the A/A bookends to complete it. Now, if I can only find the time to set it up on the Club's big layout and RUN 8. Supposedly these models incorporate some kind of tilt technology, as the prototypes. Can't wait to find out. But wait I shall. The boss keeps calling me up and telling me to get my kiester into work .

Chops, this is the Bachmann Acela I have. I want to give you a warning, these things are fast has hell! No way they can go full speed, they will fly off the track!! \

Those Acela sets are gorgeous.
Ah, the Aerotrain. The train that for all its flash failed to impress the Union Pacific because on top of maintenance issues it had even less hill-climbing ability than the E-series diesels.

Oh Goody!
I do want a Canadian National Turbo train some time. Even though I heard they were junk, too!
If I were Zelda, I'd just go out an chop down a pine tree and whittle one out of a log. However, I am no Zelda. Any idea who made a Turbo Train??

Uh, never mind, I used this thing called the "internet" and found that Rapdio made one: 350 clams. Think I'll just be happy I got an Acela.
