I have a couple of decent pieces up on Ebay for the last five weeks, and can't sell them for nuthin'. Nice pieces all, but don't fit my Tyco or British collections. Is my experience about average? I've had more luck selling junk on the local Craig List than what I am doing now. Does anyone recommend HO Seeker as a sales venue? I've added a "make an offer" tag to each item- still no interest.

chops - ebay is a fickle animal. Just an observation but it seems that most ebay buyers are scared off by high starting bids (read that as what you think an item is worth and should sell for). They like those low .99 starting bids, ever hopeful that it will slip on through the cracks unnoticed and they'll get a super deal. After 5 weeks with no action, you might reconsider your starting bids. Ironically, it seems like all the things on ebay I'm personally interested in always end up going in a feeding frenzy at prices that make no sense.

| Chops, you might want to check your settings on Ebay. I finally found you as a seller, but when I click on "Show items" I get a message that you have nothing for sale. Some of the guys on the other board sent me direct links to one of your items and I can see it, but again when I click on "show other items", I get nothing. I wonder how many others are in the same boat.

I wondered that too, but people are apparently watching. As far as high starting bids, all the items are on a buy it now tag, with the option to make an offer. I'll take another look at the settings and see if I can get any where with that.
