Hi,
I'm looking for the USMRR engine from the Blue and Gray set with the balloon stack as pictured below. Condition is unimportant as long as the smoke stack is intact as I plan on restoring it anyway to go with my CP engine. Willing to buy just the smoke stack if you have one floating around.

Nice piece. I like the steam dome detailing. Looks quite
vintage. Nice tender trucks.

Your best bet to find the stack is eBay. They do not come up often and normally you have to
buy the entire engine. If you need any help on the restoration, give me a hollar. I just
finished restoring one.

Nice job! I planned on buying a complete engine but would have settled on a stack and just refinished a junk engine I have. That's exactly the result I'm looking to obtain once finished. I have a clean survivor but I'm looking to restore one that I won't have to worry about operating. I have the stickers for it.

Do you need the flags? I have a couple sets of reproduction flags around here somewhere.

Thanks. I have both sets, complete. I was able to restore them without disturbing the original stickers. Where did you ever find replacement stickers for them? Do you have the flags for both the Blue and Gray? I have not been able to find either, anywhere. Just give me a pm with how much you want for the set(s).

I used to make/sell reproduction stickers and decals for most brands of vintage HO about 15 years ago. I'll have to dig thru my remaining stock to see what I have left. The flag sets are copied directly from an NOS set that was never used and contains both US and Confederate flags. You just need to supply the brass "posts"...

Posts are not a problem. When you find them, send me a PM with the cost and your address
and I'll get the cash to you along with my address. Thanks a bunch.
