Zeldatheswordsman, if you can't help, then dont comment/reply. And dont criticize.

"Say nothing when you have nothing good to say" - ever heard of it?

If I can't fix it, I can fix it so it can't be fixed.

Yeah, I've heard of it. It's not as applicable as you'd think. And "If you can't help, don't comment" is rich coming from you since everything you've posted in my thread has been unhelpful.

Yes, I know, but do you know what kind of headlight this is, and what kind of loco I should put this thing on?
Someone in another forum said they were used on Mountainous locos like the Coulorado and southern, is he right?

That is what I thought at first, probably right. Compare it to photos of the real locos

Alien space junk recovered in Roswell, New Mexico.

Actually, since it is "bolted down" with "bands" it leaves me to think it was some
kind of steam powered generator that would sit just before the engineer's cab and
generate electricity.

Some dining cars in the early 1940's had chain driven generators that propelled
electric generators in the undercarriage that made electricity to power the new
fangled invention of the microwave oven (apparently a variant of RADAR waves, yes)
to cook food rapidly. Back then microwave ovens were roughly the size of a
freezer chest. I'm not sure who employed them, I want to say the SF Super Chief.

Cabooses also used that technology for electricity.
