Just won a bunch of steamers off of eBay and think I made a very good deal. Total cost per locomotive is $20, including shipping.

First up: Mantua 0-4-0 switcher. It is complete and test show it just needs a good cleaning and
lube job.

Second up: Mantua 4-4-0 General. This is in the same shape(mechanically) as the switcher.
However, this one is getting restored.

Third up: American Flyer 0-6-0 with smoke and chuffer. A little cleaning and lube and it's ready to
go. This one will also undergo restoration. Had to get another boiler front for it.

Fourth up: Mantua 4-6-2. Another win. Cleaning and lube and ready to run. Am thinking of
restoring this one as well. The previous owner tried to put a smoke unit in this one and I'm
gonna replace the shell (have one from a previous buy). Also needs a drawbar.

Last up: Mantua 2-8-2. It also runs but needs cleaning and lubing. Needs a drawbar, but have
those in stock.

Who knows? I may just restore all of these little beauties. The General will go into my
collection for sure. Will decide about the others after I'm finished.

Nice lot! I've got a couple 0-6-0's by Flyer! Third one has a MDC Round House 0-6-0 chassis under it with Kemtron cylinders and valve gear.

The switcher's complete? I don't see connecting rods and valve gear in that photo.

Zelda's right. Might be a wheel spinner. Is that Mikado? Paint it pink
and call it a day. Nice trove overall. I'd be all over
that little General.
