Came across this little gem at the El Paso Model Train Club. "Montridge Lines" was a personal railroad created and registered with NMRA roster of "private railroads," and I believe the Montridge Lines dates at least to 1972. For the record, this isn't mine, I just took the picture.

Yes, Mr. Zelda, and very often the case, largely because Microbusss already has claimed just about everything else. You and I will need to go over to Nebraska some moonless night and raid his stuff. I call the Varney Aerotrain. Then, we need to sneak over to Walt's place, where ever the heck he lives, (we can find it by following the glow on the horizon) and take back the light posts and dumpsters.
Truth be told, I am pretty careful about annotating credit to the modeler as there are not infrequent cases of people trying to claim credit for which is not theirs. Sad.

Nice photos guys! I love the old Ford wagon, Richard! My AOTW is this Ripmax Power source that delivers a constant controlled 13.8 volts. Today I hooked 50+ light poles to it and it worked well. Any other transformer I have tried would only light 16 max.

That is a memory bringer old Ford. My family had one when I was younger. Love it.
So Walt, that explains the brief power outage we had here.

My AOTW:
Matchbox-Lesney Ruston-Bucyrus Power Shovel on a Pickfords 200 Ton Crane Transporter. I am sure I posted this in the past, but since nearly everything I have is packed away, gotta post what I have pics of...

That was probably it George! I love this little power supply! I just keep hooking more to it and it seems to care less... Up to 60 plus...

I'm not sure which is more interesting, the parts I received or the package they came in. This box was wrapped in paper for the new address, but it was originally mailed 54 years ago . . . maybe one of you folks know the sender or recipient? A year or so ago, I received a Mantua Metal Products car that was mailed in the original box with the address right on it and that was sort of a treat as well (note the 1962 postage was $0.16 while the postage was $2.25 in this 2016). Anyway, I needed some of these couplers to restore some Mantua equipment. The other part of my accessory of the week is this folding work table that I put a new board on for a small work bench in my railroad lub-or-uh-tree.

Love that old box with postage, Barry! I was 2 years old when this was handled in 1962. I would be the kind that would keep that box around. What a piece of model railroading history!

The Ripmax picture above is a wonderful power supply and I now have 80 light poles working from it. A considerable amount of rewiring was needed since I was using 5 Tyco transformers to do the job for 84 lights in sections. Hopefully, the Ripmax will be able to power all of the light sources on my layout which could be as many as 225 plus. but likely 125 - 150...
