Looks like it transmorgified into an A&P, Walt. Still a very nice piece with clearly visible interior, no doubt made easier to see from the street lights. I assume the dumpsters are in the rear. Really nice billboard cars in the background.
Since the power went out in my house (probably because Walt's street lights sucked all the power out of the national grid) I was forced to go to Riudoso, New Mexico to "Trains and More" and get this photograph of a barbershop from the owner's layout.

Just won this on eBay. Since I already have a Barber Shop, the barber shop in this model will become Su Ling's Laundry.

Chops124, My electric bill is soo high, it comes in a box by UPS! PLUS, I'm concerned with what looks to be a dead dog behind the fire hydrant. There looks to be a fair amount of blood on the street at the lower right. I certainly hope that it wasn't from the dog..

Uh, Walt? Miiight wanna move what you said to outside the quote tags.
Also, I think I recognize the phone booth. Looks like the one from the passenger platform and goods dock kit.

Chops, here's the A&P building which is the same kit in different colors. Note the A&P sign... DO NOT adjust your set. Photo is blurrier than hell...

Oh hey, so that's what that part in the bunch of parts, accessories, and figures I got for Christmas is! It's a rooftop AC unit from one of those kits! That was driving me crazy!
And I saw what Chops didn't in the first photo: The A&P sign there is a Life-Like trackside billboard. I could also just about make out the 7-11 logos on the windows.

Zelda, on my old 1970s layout I had the 7-11 building done up as A&P with A&P pole lighted signs by Life-Like. For this era, I bought the 7-11 and built it as is. Then bought another to duplicate my old A&P store from years ago.
My present day layout is designed around the history of my much smaller set up as a kid... Mostly a tribute to Tyco & Life-Like products of my past.

It's amazing what other people see. I never saw the blood and the dead dog until Walt pointed it out. Yikes!!!
