Just a suggestion. FWIW. I take those Atlas bumpers and cut the empty light bulb holder off with a razor saw. They just bother me. I glue a flat piece of plastic over the hole and paint it black to match the plastic.

That's a great idea Rich. I am gonna add the foam track bed that I have bought under the track along with ballast. I'm not certain of how far in total detail that I'll go. Because at some point I will expect my HO scale people to walk & talk!

Walt, you shudda asked me, I got half a dozen of the things lying about, I wudda sent you one. But hey, that is a nifty photo with that obs coach, and all.
As for me, I kinda like those goofy red lights on the bumpers. Just a Tyco thing, 'tis all.
Nice crossing, but I like the catenary even more! Hope we get to see some heavy electrics soon.

Well Thank You just the same, Jeff. As for the bumper modifying, I'm just a little bit funny about changing much on any of this stuff. It was what I had in the 70s and I'm OK with it now.
Like I said, if I get it too realistic I will expect my HO dogs to bark at the mailman...

Several views of Tyco Truck Unloading Terminal on Tycomania VI. I really had to shoe horn this piece, but it is becoming an industrial park in an unplanned, organic sort of way. The unloader was $5 in box, missing base. The platform and flat car with pigs is NOS. Christmas 2015

Also, Chops124, and everyone...
I ended up using 7 bumper tracks with one side track running the whole 20 foot length of the table with 19' 9-1/2 inches of usable rails. Another side track circles around more than a full circle, probably 45 feet long. I'll eventually get some pics up...

I would love to see more about this project! Did you automate the crossing gate? If so what kind of mechanism did you use. Is it triggered automatically by a train or is it operated manually? Did you install the lights or did you get a crossing signal with lights installed?

The ladies, since they're actually HO scale. I already have enough non-HO cars, but I can always use more HO people miniatures, especially in variety.
Also, kinda the wrong week to be posting a new accessory in this thread :P
