Hello everyone. I was cleaning out my basement this weekend and found this train set from my childhood. I am curious as to exactly what I have. Any information you can provide would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Well it still has the big box, and that looks in great condition.
Check the engine. Does it have 'tyco mantua' stamped on the bottom?
Also note that the engine shown on the box has a different seal because that was the original seal, but then tyco changed the design

Lucky and SMART you for saving everything The set is from 1974 and was one of the first if not the first set to feature the Spirit of 76

This was my first TYCO set got it for Christmas that year still have it (except the log car) but no boxes

Used to run the set on my old HP layout every Fourth Of July

Got a new log car years later found the original under the couch think my brother broke it BUT regardless it was hidden
