Hey hello everyone! I've haven't been too active around here lately but have been checking out all of your work. Nice stuff guys. Here is my latest Plasticville before and after project. I call it Hillybilly Haven and its PV's model of 1957 Pacemaker mobile home. the biggest change I made was to remove the bottom of the sides and rebuild them lower like the prototype. I think it makes it look less toy-like.

| Yeah, I can just see a whole "park" of those things Gary . . . on the "wrong side" of the tracks, maybe.

I like the trailer, Gary. I thought about a couple on my layout but couldn't do it. My BOTW is the Tyco School ...

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. Yes it's HO and hard to find. There was a company making an entire bunch of different makes and models of mobile homes (I think 6 different ones) I believe they went out of business. City Classics also makes one. I've also seen a company that sells download plans and paper kits. So if you really want to do a trailer park, they're out there.
Chops- Was the sweet a reference to Sweet Homes of Alabama? Now less famous for their mobile homes than their jingle that some down home boys rewrote into Sweet Home Alabama?
Walt - I really like that school

My BOTW is a scratch built stock pens using the Suydam plans I got some years back.

Using the figures from the plan, I got the scale lumber, cut it to their measurements and assembled according to the plans.

Those will disappear when I put the paint/stain on the boards. This was a real fussy project. Shudder to think of what a job it would have been using the adhesives of the time. This design was done in 12/57.

Probably would have been Ambroid Cement. The stuff wants to dry before you get a chance to put the joint together.
