Just found this on YouTube. Shows some of the weird locomotives built over the years. There's even an electric steam locomotive there. Just thought everyone would get a kick out of it.
There are 3 parts to the videos.

You're welcome. I thought everyone would get a kick out of it. I liked the "electric steam engine". That might be an interesting build sometime in the future. High voltage electricity and water, interesting combination.

Wouldn't mind finding some of these locos in HO/OO scale
The Rail Zepplin could of had a cowel around the prop for safety

I've seen this video set quite a few years ago, but it never gets old!

I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

Wow, some awesome engines in there, many I've never seen before, some that identified a model I have ( The Tienfisch, tiny diesel engine centercab shorter than a VW beetle,I have a kit built using the Bachmann gandy dancer motorized chassis to power it ). Thanks for posting that link, I need to bookmark that, pretty sweet history lesson.
