Well, it's really nothing in the way of specifics...but this was sent out this week from Reel Riders regarding their next batch of autos...

Next Release

We've received many emails asking about the next release of Reel Rides. We can't tell you which cars we'll be using since they're not all confirmed yet, but we can tell you that you should see some new cars on-shelf this summer. They will continue to be available at select U.S. Wal-Mart stores and we'll make sure to send out any updates in the store list. We know you'll love these cars so please hang tight until then.

Here's their website...
http://www.reelridesvip.com/

These cars are tough to find in a world where all those cars are generally difficult to discover in stock at Wal-Mart. Think I've seen 'em maybe twice.

The May issue of Model Railroad News also includes a review of the Reel Rides by Bill Cawthon in his At The Grade Crossing column. Cawthon states that a third group of Reel Rides may be in stores following this second coming batch by year's end. He states the he knows two of the coming autos and names them in the column.

Additionally, Cawthon's column mentions news from Malibu that following their runs in the Reel Rides line, some of these cars may resurface in different paint jobs in the standard Malibu series. That's good news, as I'd hoped we see some different colored Pontiac Trans Am cars in the future and now it appears that we will.

For those still having trouble locating any/all of the 1/87th Fresh Cherries vehicles, Doc's Caboose in Kansas City stocks them, has them on the website including the ability to request specific colors for each model; and does mail order...

WTFark... It's be nice if we got the FIRST releases out here before being teased with upcoming ones.

I don't get it. This stupid state practically revolves around two things: UK basketball (couldn't care less meself), and Wal-Mart. Yet our walmarts suck for this stuff. Bah.
