A mineral silo by Gary Walford, in El Paso. Recently taken at mall train show. Nice use of colors, Walt, that lavender is particularly striking. Ah, you will notice Gary's silo has no light posts. I think you own them all.

Nice Silo, Jeff... About the lavender trees, I have never seen a box of Life-Like Spring Trees with the two lavender colors as these. Seen them on ebay, I couldn't buy them quick enough....
As for the light poles, I still have no idea what I'm going to power them with. May have to use 15 or 20 Tyco transformers to power 16 lights on each one. Don't want to do that though...

Maybe you could mount them on the roof and use them for Christmas lights. Or you could open a boutique at the mall: Walt's Street Lights: In Miniature.

| Great ideas, Jeff. I emailed "The Hobby Shop" in the Dayton, Ohio area about power for my light ups. They sent me a reply claiming they had a transformer that was high powered that would light 150 of them safely... $84.00. Didn't tell me the make or I could probably find it on an Ebay auction...

If you are looking for a reasonably priced high power AC power supply for your accessories I recommend getting an old Lionel Transformer. I use a Lionel transformer to power the Peco switch machines on my HO layout and it works very well.

I don't think you understand Walt's fascination with street lamps. Walt might be served better with a home generator or perhaps a water wheel thing driving a generator down river from his home. He tried using solar panels, but the number of lights caused the panels to melt.

LOL... Actually , Jeff I had lost count after 225 light ups. But I think I will only use 150 of them, OR, maybe 175.... Heck, I don't know!
Thank You for the info Srenchin!!

225???!!! No wonder my house went dim the other night! My life will be incomplete until I own some of those lavender trees. Those are just crazy.

| You know, Jeff... That is the only box I've ever seen with those brighter colored trees. Love to find two more boxes of them. They are called Spring Trees, by life like... The norm is a dull lighter pink color...
