This is a longshot, but I thought someone looking at this site might now what was going on and answer.
Does anyone know what happened to the Atchison, KS train show they used to have in October at their Memorial Hall? It was a small show with only a couple layouts, but they always had two or three vendors and I got some great stuff there. I went several times, but a couple years ago they stopped having it, or at least on the same date. It always used to be the same weekend as their Octoberfest. I can find no info other than dates from previous shows. The club that I believe sponsored it has a website, but it has not been updated since 2007.
I suspect this thing just died out. Too bad, it was a nice drive through the country to a simple little show.

I don't know. It is a challenge to keep a club alive in this day and age of video games. Through a little free publicity and some paid advertising I managed to jack our membership from 9 to 32 in a year. Now keeping them from fighting with each other is the major challenge.
