The Westinghouse specific bridge & trestle set is muy cool! And I wish I could find another U. S. Navy operating hopper. I'm jealous of that one.

* If its not labeled ? Odd looking. I haven't see it before.

* About the brakeman. It goes with the M. St. L. red box car. Read the box label. It is a operating brakeman box car. The wire coming out of its lag attaches to a rubber band running from one end to the other end of the box car along its top. You can research the brakeman car here. At least 2 people have done a photo information bit about that car showing how it works. I did one of them. Also probably there is something on U tube on it.

As to Brakeman Yes the car in question is in the set

It sold and I think is going to Fla

There were two sets in the lot I bought Two seperate train sets and both had the brakeman car.

I have never seen the brakeman outside of pics

The set (which I am keeping) was 1961 Mammoth of the rails (no loco was with it) but I think I have a red box Pennsylvania steam loco just do not remember if it's a Pacific or Mikado

(Hoping it is the Mikado since that is the proper one)

The Toronto Hamilton is the other Brakeman car and like the one pictured it has the brakeman

Hey, hey! If you haven't packed it up yet, can you take some good close-ups of the walkman guy? I have 3 or 4 of those boxcars, but not a single brakeman to be found, and I'd like to know what I"m looking for.
