Another garbage find from my LHS, I snagged these power poles Tuesday after leaving the shop.

Hey, I've got a set of those! They came with my Kellogg's promotional set it 1978 or '9! Cool! Does your LHS owner not know there's a potential market for such things?

My AOTW is an Ulrich oil tanker thing that apparently came from a track cleaner car.

My AOTWs;
An almost complete Atlas pier set:

One complete bridge and trestle set, along with most of the trestles for a second set, plus 2 odd trestles at the upper right:

My Sweetie found it all at an antique mall for $4.00.
The bridge and trestle set is similar to Tyco's, but lighter weight. Maybe Life-Like.

Meh, he's so O-gauge oriented, he doesn't care much for the HO stuff, other than it's a draw into his store for some. I wouldn't have thrown it out, I would have priced it to sell, even for a few bucks, but apparently, he didn't think much of them. I, however, did.

I tell ya, if he's just gonna throw stuff out, he oughta throw it at you first! Save you from having to dumpster dive, at least in this case.

Might be because he doesn't want to play favorites with the techs. I know of a couple other guys who might jump on it, too. I just got to the trash first. :) Either way, I hate to see stuff like that go, luckily I can catch some of it and recycle it. Jerry

Definitely Life-Like. The exact same thing came with my first train set. It lifted a figure eight track up so a small circle track could go under it. I used to hate the things when I got in my "realism" phase, but now I think they work if used sensibly. Sometimes the bridge came with a flashing light on an arch that snapped on top of it.
