Mine is a life like Union Pacific F40PH that can easily haul 20 cars. I'll get a pic when I can.

Athearn powered Cary FT A&B units. Real stump pullers, but hard on the Athearn split axle gears.
I have never been able to stall these units. I have pulled 30 cars on the club layout with no problem. 8 powered axles and 4 pounds of lead will move about any thing! I will admit I have changed the gears on several of the axles from time to time.
Regards John

Sorry no pics here, I have a couple of Spectrum Amtrak F-40 Ph's that are heavy as heck. They run smooth and have the flashing strobes, pretty cool!

My best pullers are Athearn Blue Box dual motor DD40. I have added flywheels to them. I have never been able to get them to stall with a load or spin their wheels. I own 4 but have only run two in a constant. With four motors I do not want to much stress on the transformer, although the amp gauge says I am ok.
I also have an Athearn ABBBA f7 set. Thanks to borrowing a Mantua shell they are all different numbers. Two of the locomotives are powered and have extra weight added. Most powerful passengers locomotives that I have.

https://youtu.be/bCVkssaVReU Triple headed Athearn BB F's on point. The juddering motion at start up is the locomotives bouncing up and down looking for traction.

hmm don't have a really heavy one but close ones are the Spectrums I have of the UP #844 GP-30 & the Amtrak FP40 I think it is
course I wants the #844 GP in it's current museum form someday
& yes the GP-30 #844 is the reason the FEF used the number 8444!
