I would like to fit a Midnight Special shark shell to a powered chassis. I want to use anything put another useless Tyco chassis. Can an Athearn F unit chassis be used with a minimum of re-fitting?

Have you considered a Model Power shark chassis? I don't have a Tyco shell to compare, but that or an FA chassis, which is the same as a shark, would be perfect. Evan

I believe the atheran chassis could be made to fit. you can also get the vorrect trucks by swapping sideframes with an athearn u30b. the sideframes may also be available separately as detail parts.
