My contribution to this week's AOTW is a bunch of track.

Nice track. Now I know what I've been sneezing about all day!
Here's another from the recent antique store trip. I've got one more I'll save for next time:
I love finding this kind of stuff, because I came along into the hobby right after AHM and Tyco were done. I didn't get to see this kind of stuff as commonly as some of you guys did.

Haha very funny. But yeah, very odd set. A 1960s - 1970s era truck with a wagon? Still pretty nice looking, though.

An older photo of my lighted billboards. I have at least 3 more Campbell's Soup unlighted ones sold in the Campbells train set...

Well that certainly wins the Kool Award. What in the world was AHM thinking combining these items a century apart? Maybe to demonstrate the change in freight transportation? Great find, never seen the likes of it. I will look forwardto your next "mystery post."

I have that same set, only it came in a box without the clear window. My theory is - looking at the truck - it's all of European lineage. Eastern Europe, where horses and wagons were still commonly used? I ended up cutting the back third of the stake bed from the truck - it looks a little more "Americanized" now.
