Maybe both, actually. Anyway, my COTW is a Tyco Santa Fe cattle car that I actually quite like.

Aaaaaargh! And the Sprout IS facing the other way! Hangover Monday at the Tyco plant? Makes me think of the Flying Jenny stamp.
Looks like the second Sara Lee was running out of paint. Shades of Penn Central Syndrome, there. Muis kool.
Oh, heck, I just noted the backdrop is white, too. Why only these thing happen in Nebraska? I hope it snows another 12 inches.

My contribution this week is a "diabetes" car. Just picked it up for my "Junk Food" train.

Eat your asparagus. Love those blurry graphics. Add this one to my "must have" list.

Hi everyone! It's been a while. Here's an AHM Heinz vinegar car picked up at an antique store:

Sorry about the blurry picture.
I've also got two different versions of a Heinz pickle car...I guess I'm starting a fleet! Wonder what other Heinz products are out there?

You'd think Consolidated Foods would have been more careful with the print registration on cars that promoted their own company! The red tampo is actually crooked on the top car!

Makes it really unique. Love it. I had three, and traded one off to Island Trains. Now kicking myself in kiester. Had not noticed these nuances until you pointed them out.
Now I see to the slogan is a charmingly awkward double negative: "Nobody Doesn't Like Sara Lee?"
I am getting nice little trade in return, but until Microbuss pointed out the finer points, I didn't get it. Good eye, Micro.

Burlington 77 is headed down the slippery slope. A pickle train would be just so kool. Hope he keeps collecting those hotties. I gather there are some variants in color and design. Bring it on!
This little honey a sweet gift from my sister and honorary Tycohead, "Underdog," who resides in Florida and seriously collected antique Kewpie dolls as one of her fascinations. Everyone should have a sister like mine.
El Paso Model Train Club, harbor scene by George Redpath, Gordon Pugh, and Fred Sunderman; talented modelers all. And yes, that spur is fully functional.

By Fred Sunderman, El Paso Model Train Club. Sounds like NAFTA got another one. The back story is that a Bimbo rep was passing out these Bimbo trucks at the El Paso Airport, and Fred snagged a handful and built up this scene around them.

My COTW is this Mantua/Tyco operating hopper in Virginian colors:

This car was a gift from my inlaws, purchased on a recent trip to Ohio. Apparently, they have a model train vendor at a flea market there on the lookout for these things, because as soon as they walked up, he held it up from across his shop and said "You owe me six bucks!" He'd been holding it for about a year!
So this makes 8 or 10 of these I have in Virginian paint now!

I see those all the time at the local train show. About as common as the brown ones. If you're looking for one, I can pick one up next time it's on in September.
