Hi Guys:

Some of you have looked at some of the Trackplan designs I added here with the name George Baustert. It's not a Pseudonym. He was someone who became a friend online and gave me some great design advice over the last few years.

He has been publishing in Model Railroader and Railroad Model Crafstman Since the 50's and has been a prolific trackplan designer. I found out from Jim Dill who is the developer of a software package called "Trainplayer" that allows test running of model train layouts, that George died on March 30th. He last sent me a layout redesign I submitted to him a few weeks previous.

I'd encourage all of you to go have a look at the George Baustert Gallery on the TrainPlayer website and see some of his great ideas.
