I guess I'll start this week. This time a newer Walter's kit. I pointed it to the wife in a Walter's flyer and said I thought it was cool. Shortly after I got it as a brithday present. I have no idea where to fit this in on the layout, but it is cool. I added interior details and built a tray inside the roof so I could do it in stone and still remove it.

Thanks guys! The kit is actually of the Des Moines Iowa fire station that was a 1930's WPA project and closed in like 2012. Pics on line show it's a very accurate model. Plans are to make it a social club.

Master of Plasticville indeed. Very fine GaryB. Seems like there ought to be a couple firemen in there waxing the truck or something?

Two fun finds from an antique store:
I plan to build one for the new layout (should be starting this fall) and keep the other for my growing MIB collection/hoard.
No, Microbusss, you can't have the extra one!
By the way, a quick update: The new "train shack" is pretty much right on track. Old shed is gone, ground is leveled. Just waiting on the rain to back off and then I'll start on the foundation. I hope to be laying track about back-to-school time.

hehe naah I got one already, B77
Chops - The Freezee Drive-Inn was what L-L did since they didn't get the permission or go thru the proper channels to make the McDonald's resturant So now the McD's is quite valuable & can be in the $100++ range up to $400 on Ebay

Yikes, that is a pretty penny. Interesting back story. For a long time, UPS would not allow any manufacturers to use the UPS logo and the Union Pacific RR started to charge royalties for its paint scheme.
