Hey Guys:

Is anyone running a Life-Like RS-2? The newest version with dual motors. I like Alco's a lot and I often have taken batches of track, transformers, cars etc and put them together for kids of friends or co-workers and I want to standardise on a single engine. These RS2's are cheap and I've heard run well but don't know annyone who has one.

Thanks,
Gareth

You mean the Life-Like Proto 1000 RS-2, right? I have one in GM&O and have had some troubles with electrical pickups causing it to be a jerky runner. I did take mine apart and cleaned the contacts to the wheels and it helped some, but I don't operate it much due to it kinda weak performance.
