WHile traveling in NC, I stumbled across this place by accident ( well, not quite, I was heading for Hayes Hobby shop at the time ), but saw the sign passing by, and had to go back to check it out. The humor value ALONE makes it work coping in HO scale! " Load up your wiener at our fixin's bar, then enjoy it all the way down!" Man, the fun you could have with this on a layout....anyway, the store design kinda reminds me of a Burger King style, I don't think it'd be hard to kitbash. I'm definitely going to be looking to see if I can make this place happen. Just as good, if not better, than the burning IRS building by Model Power. Oh! Oh! Put them side by side, and have a weeny roast!

That looks like a former McDonald's. But yeah, it does look like something Tyco or a similar manufacturer would've made.

OK Similar subject stolen pictures.
When I worked for Texaco we ate at a little West Texas restaurant we called the fly cafe due to the open windows and the fly strips hanging from the ceiling. You kept you burger covered at all times. Yea I Know!, but it was 25 miles to any other food place.

I just could not bring myself to shop at these convenience stores in Oklahoma

One would make a conversation piece on a layout!
Have I mentioned how much I miss my trains this week!
