First Annual Spring Fling El Paso, Texas
Saturday, March 14, 2015
First Annual Spring Fling Open House at El Paso Model Railroad and Historical
Association 6335 Vaughn Court, El Paso TX 79924 March 14th and 15th.
1600 square feet of snorting, smoking, hissing, clanging, chuffing, growling and
sometimes derailing model trains in HO, HO DCC, O, and N. European layout
by special presentation. By the use of our non-profit status and old
fashioned hair pulling, foot stomping and gnashing of teeth I was able to
secure $800 of prime time advertising for $200. If we can cadge 4 new
members, the ad cost is covered. First ever commercial ad for this
60 year old club. Membership up 200% over last year. Check us out

at El Paso Model Railroad and Historical Association. Tyco Forum folks

Signed up 5 new members today, tomorrow is Sunday,
see what shows up on the mixed local. Probably
Microbusssss and his shoe box full of Tyco.
If he brings the Varney Aerotrain, we
will let him in. The ad has now paid for itself,
at least on paper.
