In addition to the single car releases shown here for $9.98 each; Walthers will also offer this set of roadnames in packs of two hoppers for $19.98...

HO scale, $9.98 each, Expected: 28-Sep-2007

* Ready to Run * New Roadnames & Roadnumbers * Magnetic Knuckle Couplers * Non-Magnetic Blackened-Metal Wheelsets * Great for 60s or Later Coal Trains

Developed by the N&W in the early 60s, cars of this design were also constructed by the PRR, RDG, C&O, B&O and Frisco as well as by Bethlehem Steel and ACF for several other roads. These cars were the unofficial standard coal hopper of the 60s, 70s and 80s and some are still in service in 2006.
