Tyco/Mantua Single Dome Tank Cars. I am making a 50-car Southern Pacific tank car train and I need about 40 more.
I also need ladders and handrails for these cars if anyone has them in their junk boxes. If anyone has just the frames with the steps intact I would like those to repair the cars that had them broken off. My goal is to make 50 GOOD tank cars. I'm willing to pay reasonable item and shipping costs.

I would like them to be identical, so yes. I know some have the brake wheel on the end of the car and some had the brake wheel on the frame. (Like the one in the photo.) I would take either one. I can easily move it if I have to.
I'm sorry to say I have no Lionel at all. In fact I only have about a dozen box cars in all.
What I can do is print out that photo and take it with me to some upcoming train shows. If I find any of them I will buy it and send it to you.

I have a big box of older freight cars (mostly tyco/life-like/old bachmann) that I have no interest in keeping. There might be a couple in there, I will check when I find the box.--CRC
