While assembling an older Mantua aluminum car, I found I was missing one of the bolster spacers. Hmm...what can I use for that?
In my many piles of junk bits I have many trashed plastic wheelsets.
I pulled one off the axle and shaved the rim from the back.
A perfect fit. A coincidence? I think not!
