Here is a model railroad track crossing like I"ve never seen before.
Notice it's dual gauge.

Have you seen the recreation of CNJ's Bronx Terminal by the owner of Fast Tracks?

It looks more like metal sculpture than track work. There was a lot of insane pretzel bowl yard trackage back in the early 1900's, so the dual gauge crossovers above don't seem unrealistic. What layout is that from? Beautiful work.

It's from a club layout, the Neuse River Valley, here in Raleigh, NC. It's their modular layout they had on display at a local train show this past weekend.
