Hope you give a hoot, I found this C&FW Hooterville Mantua car at the Big Flea yesterday, I was hoping the Toy Guy was going to be there, but he wasn't. I wandered the aisles, and spotted this lone car on a shelf, for $4 my Hooterville Cannonball set is off the starting blocks. Only need the engine, tender, and another car? to go. What is interesting about this one is that there are no couplers on it, and I don't see how they are attached, it's all smooth at each end. Whuh? Anyway, nice find.

Huh. That's strange. Anyway, my COTW is a Tyco Burlington Northern box car from my train group's junk bin. It's actually one of the only intact freight cars in that bin aside from one missing coupler.

My COTW is a Athearn "Virginia Gentleman" box car I got at the train show Saturday for $5. It was a new kit, I added Kadee couplers and some P2K wheels.

My COTW is this Mantua metal-sided reefer lettered for Borden's Fine Cheeses. It's in really good shape for its age.

Sorry ben don't have that one. from what I see you have not had any luck there either.
GG1 Rats!!! now I am going to have to keep looking. BTW I have seen 2 more variants in real life One has the TTX markings and logo above the rail box arrows, the other has rail box painted out and says " united car rebuilding services " with the rail box logo intact
