That sounds pretty sweet for anyone who wants to solder a wire to a motor in an H0 scale train to DCC it.If it even works, of course.

"A lot of modellers out there who go to these train shows see broken HO stuff and go, 'This is useless' when, in reality, they can still be used for modeling whether it's as a prop on your layout or a cool project to make something old new again."

I like the idea if it works... Been nice to have wiring those 82 light poles a while back.. I'm going to look into it...

My moma told me if it sounds to good to be true, then it usually is! I would hate to do 80 lights only to go back, clean up, then solder them all again. But because of experience, I tend to be a little bit cynical. Regards, John

Conductive paint has been around a while, so this stuff should work, too.

They says it's for low voltage, but more importantly it's only good for low current applications. Notice they only show it used on LED's. It must have more resistance than solder, so I wouldn't trust it with track wiring.
Edit: I just found it on ThinkGeek. Read the comments at the bottom.

I think I may buy a small container sometime. I don't always beLIEve what Joe Blow says because it didn't hold the hubcaps on his Pinto.....

Or you could mix your own: http://www.instructables.com/id/Make-Conductive-Glue-and-Glue-a-Circuit/?ALLSTEPS
He says Wire Glue isn't bad, but is higher resistance than his formula and tends to be brittle. Graphite is the conductive agent in these glues.

I used wire glue when I upgraded two of my Walthers Trainline Dash 8-40BW locomotives with DCC decoders, and it worked pretty well. Of course, those Trainline Dash 8s ARE a pretty easy hardwire decoder-install job anyways...

I have used this product and it works well, the best application I have found for this material is for cementing the spring to Mantua steam loco pilot trucks.

NOT for wiring the tiny pole light wires. I have found that my Dorman liquid tape is a very nice product. I love it. I use just a small amount on my wires. Little as I can get by with...

I would be interested to know how it works. I do alot of small wire soldering when converting the fleet to DCC.
If you are not having fun, you are not doing it right.
