I went to the show today-excellent. There was also a dog show and comic book show. The comic book show was Star Wars themed and had some serious fans-adults in full costume-some i thought may have needed professional counseling and a few may have been mentally unstable-just my observation and they were the talk at the train show. The train show had 2 large operating layouts-1 was n scale with onboard color cameras broadcasting live on large screen tv's and the other a ho scale also with cameras and tv's. Lot of hard to find ho scale at the show and n scale-very good prices. There was a lot of old lionel items as well as a vendor with old railroad b&w photos taken by railroad employees during the steam era/diesel transition. I seen one photo taken of a person lying on the tracks asleep that an engineer stopped his train and photographed. There was a lot of 1 st generation atlas locos(late 70's mid 80's)=FP-7's sd's etc. Lot of blue box athearn also. For the youngsters-there was a Brio dealer with all of Thomas and friends accessories and a several layouts set up for them to play with and tables and chairs for mom and dad to sit and watch. The show next year is going to be saturday and sunday and an even bigger space. Can't wait!!
