A few pics of my BOTW. Tyco 7 UP Plant that I bought and built at least 10 years ago. At the time, I spray painted the building walls, then done some more painting around the windows, doors and front of building. Will add more detail when I get to this section of my layout...

I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said, "... I drank what?"

I think the 7-Up building will look good lighted ! Plus I believe the surrounding area can be interesting with some room around for trucks and parking etc...

Sweet industry for your, hoppers for sugar, reefers lemons & limes to make the 7-Up and Reefers again to fill up with finished product bound for parts unknown. Great paint job on it too.
Just throwing these ideas out there for you consideration at least Perhaps multiple indoor lights ? maybe a round object or two [like a 7up can] to represent fluid tanks just outside and a block of wood or two or three inside to represent other machinery so when viewed from a certain angle, it does not look empty.

Thank You, JBSmith966 for your comments and ideas... I always welcome others thoughts towards my layout projects... The colored lights idea is a really good one, along with the machinery on the inside!
Interesting comment Metalsmith... Always nice to be able to relate closely by one of these buildings.

YEAH! Course I ever find a 7up plant I'll put a siding to the dock doors but embed the rails into the "concrete" Like how real places that use rail & trucks for shipments

Throw in a custom painted US-1 tractor and trailer with the back up track section to the building on the slot car side for more realism....

or find these old Golden Wheels trucks
top one isn't a GW Its a cheap knock off 7up truck
I paid $1 each at Dollar Tree years ago now they at $10-$20 on Ebay
See WHY I want the 7up plant unassembled?

That's a pretty cool shed Gary and I think the paint colors are nice and the different tones of green on the roof. It does get me to thinking about a thatched roof shack in the South Pacific, though.
