AHM actually had a commercial?!As they always say, you learn something new everyday. -Steve
"A lot of modellers out there who go to these train shows see broken HO stuff and go, 'This is useless' when, in reality, they can still be used for modeling whether it's as a prop on your layout or a cool project to make something old new again."

AHM TV commercials... that's news to me, too. I never even thought to search for them. I wonder where they were aired. I never saw one when I was young, and we were close enough to Philly to be on their home turf. The Two Guys stores around here were chock full of their stuff.
I was wondering why they only showed the C-Liner in the first ad, but the second is more impressive and really shows off their Rivarossi line.
Did anyone notice the Amtrak GG1 at the bottom of the screen at 0:03?
Also note the Penn Central GG1 next to the Amtrak unit and the jade green Penn Central boxcars in the freight yard. Proudly keeping Tyco Pluggers out of landfills since 2016

Looks like the Sunnyside Yards in Long Island City New York in the borough of Queens during the early 1970s. Storage yards today for New Jersey Transit commuter trains and Amtrak trains.
