Here's a Life-Like (?) Western Homestead with water tank and windmill I did a few years ago.

Jerry, I've been waiting for some nice photographs of a nice building model to show up and you did not disappoint me. Very nice.

Nice house Walt, I really like the two-level design... It can break up some of the monotony of a town with only single-story buildings.

Thank You, ChessieRR... I think this home will look really good with some new detail and scenics. I've found some nice colorful flower trees that I think can be cut and made into rows or single flowers, sold in several colors... I may add a working Tyco porch pole light to the kit...

I just noticed... You might want to dust of the top of that water tank... It looks like you've got a spider living up there! Of course, you could just leave it as an homage to some of the cheesier monster movies. I know model trains were actually featured in several of those, such as in this photo (not mine) from "The Giant Gila Monster"
Looks like possibly a Lionel or something HO scale.

Dang spiders! I can squint and stare and never see these things and then the camera picks them up like they're neon! I like the horror/sci-fi connection though - about the right era too

Leave the spider web. It adds character. Great stuff all. Hey, what's with the derailment picture? Someone sneak into my garage and grab an unauthorized photo of my layout??

A Team Track Unloading Dock that I scratch built several years ago from plans in Model Railroader. The lumber was all cut and dimensioned on a band saw.
