I have been using this software for quite some time. It has a section in which you can keep track of engines and rolling stock with info such as cost, modifications, brand, wheel arrangements, where bought, when bought, etc. A search can then be done on any variable.

I took a look at the website and downloaded the installation program, but haven't installed it yet. Can you mix and match track components from different manufacturers?

| Not as far as I know. Once you switch track manufacturers, on the side menu, everything on the layout drawing changes also. When you have finished your layout drawing, the program will print out a complete list of trackage that you need. This may be the reason.

Alex, I installed it and experimented briefly with it and found that I could use track from different manufacturers in the same track plan. Maybe I have a later version of the software than you do? I have version 0.9.24 beta.
