My SOTW this week is actually my entire collection of Matchbox trains that they made in the late 70's and early 80's which 90% of them I got from my grandparents.

I posted this one a couple weeks ago but it didn't get much love so I am posting it again. I know that it is not a set but it just looks good together so I will call it a SOTW.

There's actually 38 flat cars under those trailers, bottom of box... There's a second box of piggys , the ones in their Tyco boxes... I'm waiting for the day when I get the 53 car piggyback train on the rails.

Walt, will your road and rail layout accommodate that 53-car pig train? Or will you have to wait a little longer?

Yes, Glenn it will.. A quick figure on the 53 car plus engine(s) is 32 feet... the longer straight sections of the rails are at least 12 feet per side. so yes it will work with a few feet left over. (yes, I know that will look corny!)
I don't know if I have anything that would pull that many cars though! Seriously!
