Love that caboose too ken. All the 'faults' just make it look more real to me. Nice aged patina to it that is almost impossible to recreate.

The trucks are in fact Silver Streak leaf-sprung trucks, but there isn't a single other part I recognize in it. Whoever put that together had some serious fun

Catfordken, I believe I found who made the caboose you have there. I was browsing through the 1986 Model Railroader magazine and I found this in one this.

Thank you, Nickelplate. Also, I think you got a great deal on that caboose. I mean come on, you basically stole that for that low. That caboose would be an easy 10 or 20 dollars depending on the condition of course.
