Athearn has announced its third set of GP40X models. This time the Union Pacific; Southern Pacific; and Norfolk Southern examples are included.
Word is Athearn has been tooling up the correct looking truck for the UP and SP models. The hi-nose should be a new corrected tooling on the NS examples too.
The Genesis SD-45-2 gets SF Kodachrome; CSX; Montana Rail Link; and Seaboard in this new run.
All are due for August delivery according to Athearn's site.
