My latest video with a mixed westbound. Sorry for the previous avoidance!)
And, for some of you, a peculiarly new numbered Canadian Pacific boxcar: 60

And, for a bit-o-excitement... It's a bird... a plane... a Porsche? Well, it's 8944

ES44 by GE... Canadian Pacific Railway style.
Enjoy!
John
I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

It says on the side it's an autonomous track geometry measurement car. I guess that's one way to do it.

Loved seeing those Canada grain cars, especially the Alberta province one. Not to mention the 2 Conrail auto carriers. That is something you hardly see anymore. Leo

CP 60 looks like its previous life was a hard one, what with all those dents in its side!

Those two passenger cars are part of the geometry train.
I will post the rest of the geometry train pictures a bit later. I'm not sure who all would be interested. I believe the passenger cars are/were ex New York Central cars CP Rail purchased back before VIA Rail came into being. Someone else may have more information.

Thanks for posting the pics of the geometry train - that looks like it would be a fun train to model. Love seeing those old streamline cars still in operation, even if not part of a passenger train.
