Okay, I had to do this picture...The new Athearn Crawler made me think of the classic TYCO tractor from the Skid Flat with 3 Tractors...

hey, nice tractors...
I have a question regarding the Athearn tractor loads, the old time tractors... up here in Canada, you can buy the 30-40 foot flat with the two older style tractors for approximately $22 or so.
Yet, to buy the individual tractor... a single tractor... it costs $28...
It doesn't seem to make sense.
Any ideas?
Just curious.
John
I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

Huh. I didn't know that John Deere made construction equipment back in the day. I though that was a new thing.
Incidentally, their new backhoes and/or diggers are identical to another brand's. I don't recall the name - it was something Japanese - but I saw a semi flatbed on WB I-64 in KY a few months ago that had two of the large arms: one painted Yellow and lettered for John Deere; the other was Orange but I forgot the name. They were exactly the same part!

Oh...
They weren't construction tractors. They were the old farmer type of tractors. I think the pair are mounted on a 30' flat. And then seeing them for sale with-out the flat, costing $27 each. YEEEeee...
ZZZ ZZZ Z ZZZZZ
