Here's my AOTW. An old diagram for my Athearn Baldwin S-12 switcher.

"A lot of modellers out there who go to these train shows see broken HO stuff and go, 'This is useless' when, in reality, they can still be used for modeling whether it's as a prop on your layout or a cool project to make something old new again."

Ok, so this is weird. My sister May sent this from Florida, figure by Preiser. So, how this is going to work is that she will have an elephant behind her, soon, and the car will be in tow behind a Life Like circus train, thus she is a performer freshening up in what she thinks is the privacy of the elephant car.

It is a reasonably well-known fact that you don't come away from elephants freshened up. Their smell is contagious.

That's a boutique railroad, no? The P&W had a deal hauling rock salt 40 miles one way and dead head the other, no? Do they still have one customer, the salt mine? Wish I was rolling in that grass chewing on a stalk, watching it all go by.

Love a railroad bridge. Thank you for the inspiration. Rail bridges organically meld into the country side. Every time I build a railroad I'm trying to figure out a way to make an excuse for a bridge. This bridge was built by an unknown model rail artist, probably in the 1970's. Originally about three feet long, I took the most dramatic portion and squeezed it into my Tycomania layout- under construction.

Lie down with dogs and rise with fleas! Like down in Tycomania and rise with Penn Central!

Chops that is one wild looking bridge! I'm like you, I love bridges on a layout. I like tunnels too. Rock cuts. Anything to get away from track laying on a flat board.
