Here's the photo. I'll post better photos if you want me to do so. The engines runs great too. Anyway, what's the value?

What are the makes on the cars and engine? The engine looks interesting, as the wheels are close together. Is it powered? Looks similar to an H44 model. Anyway, hard to say, without more info, I don't recognize the make on these. Trucks are very interesting design, not your normal HO types. Give us some more info on these, any maker listed/printed on the bottom? I doubt valued much more than $50 for the set, depending on the engine make / rarity. Hard to say at this point.

I can't believe I forgot to add the manufacturer. Anyway, it's an old n scale Arnold Rapido powered Baldwin switcher with a few old n scale Arnold Rapido cars. All dates from the 1960's. The switcher only appeared with those poles sticking out of it in the 1963/1964 Arnold catalog. It runs pretty good and I got the whole lot for $15 at a train show earlier this year. Can't seem to find much about it though along with pictures. I only found a couple of pictures of it. There's nothing on the bottom of the engine and I know there used to be a sticker on the bottom according to one of the few pictures of it online and the cars say "Arnold Rapido" on the bottom and the caboose says "Rapido 200" on the bottom.

I've seen them go for about $40 a set...the missing wheel on the 'boose might hurt a bit. It is a complete set and they are known to run well.

Why ya ask? Selling them or a curious thing?

I'm just curious. I'm that type of person. I like to know everything about the stuff I have.

It does! Believe it or not, I was actually shocked when I found out how well it ran.

This looks just like a set I saw in an advertisement in a late-50's Model Railroader, advertised as "Triple-O OOO scale," it claimed they were the smallest operating model trains back then.

I do believe they sold them back in those days. The thing is they had the pole couplers instead of the hook couplers like mine. Mine seems to be the early Arnold Rapido line from the early to mid 60s.

My engine appears to only have that coupler with the pole sticking out of it in the 1963/1964 Arnold catalog. Update on the caboose, here it is now!
I'll paint the Styrofoam grey before gluing it onto the base of the caboose you see in the picture. I decided it's gonna be a drive-in with a billboard next to it titled: "Arnold's N-Scale Drive-In" and than right underneath it, it will say "Est. 1963".
