Introducing the Tincup and Telluride in n scale or TnT for short I built this layout in the mid 90's as my first and only foray in N scale.

This layout was built with styrofoam sheets, the white beaded kind. Pretty awful stuff to work with.

The whole project started when I bought the n scale set with the Alco FA-1for about twenty bucks from a guy that I worked with.

The FA-1 ran pretty bad so I picked up this CB&Q Pacific that runs like a Swiss watch.

the inspiration came from a trip to the narrow gauge in Colorado, I thought that the CB&Q steamer fit well with the old Colorado Southern that was run by the CB&Q and often used their old motive power. This little layout doesn't see much use any more and is need of a rehab.

Your rocks and scenery turned out really well. The landscape has a nice sun-worn, old-timey feel.....if that makes sense. I like it!

Big things are happening on the TnT! a change in scale is in the works. The line is now HOn2 1/2 with the addition of a mining locomotive and dump cars.

I quite like how cute that layout is. I've seen those narrow gauge engines, too, they're quite unique to say the least.

It fits. Tin Cup and Telluride even has a narrow gauge sound to it.

Nice layout. I am particularly interested in that Frisco FA. I have yet to find decals for the striping on these.
