Since ATLAS introduced the Trainman line, I've been surprised that a train set was not part of the line. Planned for July 2007 release, ATLAS will begin offering a very nice quality Trainman Train Set featuring the line's GP-38-2 and rolling stock; ATLAS power pack and Tru-Track roadbed track.

ATLAS announced a trio of roadnames for this release...

CP Rail

Norfolk Southern

Santa Fe

All retail for $175 each. ATLAS also announced an add-on Figure 8 Tru-Track Pack for $24.95 to accompany these sets.

Believe the components are off-the-shelf items from the ATLAS and Trainman lines, however the matching Trainman Caboose in CP Rail; NS, and ATSF may be unqiue to this group.

Not your average train set.
