hello every one, new here and I am having a dilemma. My Silver streak motor just died and I want to replace the motor. I am wondering there any other engine other than Tyco I can swap the chassis with?

Take a look at my post in customizing and kitbashing section under Athearn chassis for C-430, it might give you some ideas.

Can you post some more pics of your C430 chassis? Those look like the Alco hi-ad trucks. I'd love to know how you did this!

The chassis is from an Athearn SD-40-2that has been modified to fit the four wheeled trucks, The trucks are AMD-103 as stand-ins for Hi-Ads until I can cast some of my own sideframes.

The Bachmann B23-7/B30-7 makes a nice fit that doesn't require much work. Others have used CDROM motor's to repower Power Torques too.

Or you could draw up some HiAd sideframes and 3d-print them.
