Below is a 3 car Gilbert passenger set from end of the 1930's.



In this third picture is the Gilbert set named " Dispatcher " from 1963. The flat car is missing its load. All cars and engine in set are marked with XXX.

Hi Ken. it was a good show for old Gilbert trains, for me. The Erie 0-6-0 set was a good find. And so was the old Gilbert passenger set of 3 cars. There was a traveling all English OO layout at the show. Here are some photos. Maybe you recognize some things.

I got this car - It's got a plastic frame, but it says MANTUA and "MADE IN U.S.A."!



Other than a little wear, it's in great shape.
