Went to the local train show this saturday, got some good deals


Here's a picture of some of the stuff.

Here's what I got at the show:

4 Athearn SD45's $1 each, 3 powered, 1 dummy
Old GP7/9 custom built by Bill Sharp of Texarkana? $1
4 cement hoppers, $10
3 Bachmann Amfleet cars, $16
4 Con-Cor Superliners, $1 each
Athearn PA-1, $1
Atlas Pier Set, $8
Suydam Triangle Cafe and Modern Industry, $3
5 Athearn NYC streamline coaches, $25
Tyco Operating Piggyback Loader/Unloader that needs work, $10
Spectrum 44 Tonner that needs work, $15

Jaw dropping prices! Wow. I don't know if it's a regional thing but train show prices in my neck of the woods are going up, up, UP. And the stuff in the dollar boxes looks like it belongs in the dumpster, and that's saying something coming from me.

JNXT: Yeah, just the same over here, there are some years when you can't find anything good, it just depends on what vendors are there.

That would be so that if you are looking at live video of yourself on your monitor, it acts like a mirror so your brain doesn't get confused when you see yourself move! All you need to do is use the "Mirror" or "Flip Horizontal" option in just about any image editing software to "unreverse" your pics. Microsoft Paint will do it so if you're running Windows you don't need to download anything.
